All those snow dances from last season were transferred to 2022-2023, and we're still dancing! On December 6th, there was a Sun Dog sparkling over town. Don't know what a Sun Dog is? Neither did I! According to Britannica, a Sun Dog is an "atmospheric optical phenomena appearing in the sky as luminous spots 22° on each side of the Sun and at the same elevation as the Sun." In this case, it looked like a circular rainbow surrounding the sun!

✨ Truly a gorgeous commute into town ✨

So far this year, Park City Mountain has recorded 120 inches with 22 inches in the past 7 days. Other local resorts are showing great numbers, as well!

Deer Valley: 103''

Alta: 154''

Solitude: 140''

Luckily, the snow isn't expected to stop. There's another storm rolling in with 6"+ expected in Park City with even more coming to the Wasatch Front. So thank you again to the snow Gods! It's been a wonderful kick-off to the season.
